The Logfile Analyzer... Recently, I developed a logfile-analyzer to analyze the logs of my high-traffic domain gnod.net None of the existing programs was able to answer me the questions I had about how visitors use my site and how their behaviour changes when I do changes on the pages. I'm planning to release this program to the public. It will be mainly focused on measuring the impact of design changes on the user behaviour. However, it will also contain the standard reports on traffic, referrers etc. So currently I'm doing some research on Logfile-Analyzers. If you have questions about the usage of your websites that currently can't be answered by the software you use, let me know what kind of features you would like in a new Logfile-Analyzer. Chances are good these features will be included in the "GnodFileAnalyzer" or whatever it will be called. |
